The Gentlemen’s Very (Very) High Art Society of South Waltham was invited to perform at the Watch City Steampunk Festival, and we were also the closing act! It was amusing to rock out to, and improvise on familiar favorites such as that of Stravinsky’s Spring Dance, especially after straight forward rock or pop groups that came before us.
Before performing, we also went around checking out the festival. It was my first time at a Steampunk event, and I was very impressed by the outfits of everyone. If I weren’t in quasi-costume, I would have felt so awkward there. That was how awesome the festival was!
It was a blast! Can’t wait to be back next year!
