esphyr is based on Esphyr Slobodkina’s oil painting, Purple Abstraction. There are three large objects, each with a hole. They are related due to that hole, but are in essence stuck in this purple box that gives them only conflicting information on their identities. esphyr is the purple space that binds, the selves that redefine, and the void that yearns for recognition.
