This past weekend, frigia, commissioned and premiered by LUNAR Ensemble this past March, saw a performance up here in Boston at the New Music Brandeis concert series.
The New England premiere was made possible by the amazing musicians – Jessical Fulkerson (flute), Ryan Yure (clarinet), Jared Redmond (piano), Shaw Pong Liu (violin), Tony Rymer (cello), Kimberly Soby (soprano) and Jeff Means (conductor). Listen to a recording of the live performance below!
On the same concert, I also played the double bass on the premiere of Richard Chowenhill’s Strife, a song cycle for soprano and double bass, with the awesome soprano Kimberly Soby.
Listen to the recording of that here!
* Both recordings were recorded and mixed by recording engineer Jason Rogers.
