patchtax, a saxophone and viola duo has commissioned a new piece to be premiered on November 15th! The new work will be premiered by Mary Joy Patchett (alto saxophone) and Eve Boltax (viola) at the Junk Kitchen music series at the Lilypad in Cambridge, MA.
Cheng Tzu-Ting, a zhongruan performer with the Singapore SymphonyChinese Orchestra, has commissioned a solo zhongruan piece to be premiered in her home country of Taiwan. The work will be premiered on December 28th in Taipei, Taiwan.
The Dinosaur Annex Music Ensemble has commissioned a trio for flute, clarinet and percussion for their 11th Annual Young Composers Concert – I Make Music! The work will be premiered on January 31st at the Pickman Hall of the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA.
