The 12 semi-finalists of the SIVC has been announced! Congratulations Alexandra, Sirena, Petteri, Chisa, Oleksandr, Ryota, Anna, Hyun Jae, Richard, Jun Hong, Fedor and Yu-Chien!
They will all perform my commissioned work for the competition, kilo<byte>, as part of their semi-final recital. It’s not every day that a composer gets one work performed by 12 times by 12 awesome violinists – I must be the luckiest one of all!
