From 7 to 14 July, I was at Auvillar, France for Etchings 2013. Throughout the week, I had rehearsals with ECCE (East Coast Contemporary Ensemble) – more specifically Paolo Vignaroli (flute) and Emeline Baudrillart (harp), who performed my piece binary states//dichotomies, lessons with Georg Friedrich Haas and Fred Lerdahl, and participated in seminars with other composition fellows.
The week was busy and tiring, but it was extremely inspirational as well. I learned so much from the guest composers and composition fellows, and at the end of the week, I wished that we had more time together as it felt so brief! Here are some photos from Auvillar and Etchings 2013!
